On February 1^st, Stylecraft Builders had its company-wide Annual Meeting. This was our third time to host this meeting, and it has gotten better every year! As a company that is spread out over more than one hundred miles between some of our communities, we rarely get to all be in the same room at the same time. The desire to be more unified as a company is what sparked the Annual Meetings a few years ago, and now we really value the time we get to spend as one big work family.

Randy French kicked off our meeting talking about what we have accomplished in 2017 – the causes we as a company were able to donate to and the people we were able to help as a result of everyone’s hard work. Following Randy’s talk, we played a construction related game to find out who is really the best builder. It was a surprise to no one that the winning group included Bob Anderson, our VP of Construction for more than twenty years.

Our CEO, Doug French, gave a wonderful talk about his grandmother being able to turn “nothing” into “something” and how she inspired so much of what we do as a business. We are carrying on her legacy through ourselfless service and the way we care about our customers. While we value being a successful business that keeps growing  every year, at the end of the day we care most about the people we impact and the lives we are able to affect by providing a family with a home.

We closed this year’s meeting by giving out some very well-deserved employee awards. We were able to recognize ten employees for various achievements in 2017, such as customer service excellence, rookie of the year, and always going above and beyond.

Moving into 2018, we continue to strive to live and work by theGolden Rule, caring about customers like we would ourselves, and hopefully providing the best home-buying experience possible to those that have entrusted us with building their home.
